Exact limits

Choose a preset or enter any target from 5KB to 10,000KB.

Quality-aware

The compressor tries the highest usable quality before resizing.

Private by design

Files are processed locally in your browser, not on our server.

Start with the limit you were given.

Each page opens with the target already set, so you do not have to translate a form instruction into compression settings.

Three steps. One predictable result.

No account, editor, or upload queue between you and the download.

Choose an image

JPG, PNG, and WebP files up to 20MB work in this preview.

Set the ceiling

Pick 20KB, 50KB, 100KB, 200KB, or enter your own number.

Download the result

Check the exact output size and keep the highest quality that fits.

Why “exact size” changes the job.

Normal compressors ask you to choose a quality level and then keep trying until a form accepts the file. That turns a clear requirement into trial and error. Here, the size limit is the starting point.

Quality first, dimensions second

The tool searches for the highest quality setting that fits under your target. If even a lower-quality image is still too large, it proportionally reduces the image dimensions and tries again.

Local processing, clearly stated

Files are decoded, redrawn, and encoded in your browser. The site receives no image content. That keeps the first version fast and reduces the need for server-side file storage.

Questions before you compress.

Are my images uploaded to a server?

No. This first version reads and compresses the image in your browser using Canvas. The image file is not sent to the site server.

Does the result stay below the target size?

Yes. The compressor finds the highest quality that fits under the target. If quality alone is not enough, it reduces the dimensions and tries again. A transparent image may be converted to WebP so the transparent background is preserved.

Why did the image dimensions change?

Some targets, especially 20KB or 50KB, cannot be reached without resizing. The tool only reduces dimensions after lower quality settings still exceed the requested size.

How does the free limit work?

The browser records three successful compressions per day in local storage. Clearing browser storage or using another browser resets that local counter. The first version does not use accounts.
